Protecting our families by Promoting Public Safety
Reagan Dunn is a former federal prosecutor and his mission as the next Attorney General is to protect our families and communities.  95% of criminal activity in America is handled by state and local law enforcement.  Reagan knows this and he will work to give local prosecutors and law enforcement the legal tools and resources they need to keep violent offenders off our streets.  Reagan’s mission is simple:  As Attorney General he will use the power of the office to increase public safety – in schools, at work, in our homes and in our neighborhoods.

Protecting Consumers from Fraud and Unfair Business Practices
As Attorney General, Reagan Dunn will work to protect consumers by enforcing Washington State law to the fullest.  In this struggling economy, families are more vulnerable.  As a former prosecutor, Reagan prosecuted many cases of fraud, and as an attorney in private practice, Reagan worked closely with Washington’s Consumer Protection Act.  As Attorney General, he will ensure that those who prey on our citizens will pay a price.

Protecting the Environment
Throughout the years, Reagan Dunn has worked hard to protect our environment.  He was a key leader in the Pratt Wilderness legislation now before Congress and he championed the protection of the Raging River watershed in King County.  As Attorney General, he will protect our environment through the enforcement of existing environmental laws.  He will advise state agencies to help eliminate regulations that aren’t working and make sure our policies are achieving their intended goals.

Protecting our wallets through Efficiency and Transparency
Reagan Dunn is a proven fiscal conservative who will protect our rights and our wallets by directing the Attorney General’s office to push for new efficiencies and transparencies in state government.  As a former private practice attorney who has advised both private companies and local governments about proper risk management, Reagan will work to reduce millions of dollars wasted in settlement payouts by keeping state agencies from being sued in the first place.
